Living with loss at Christmas

The Rev. Bill Jackson and the Grief Care team invite you to join them in a special evening service at

Liddesdale Parish Church of Scotland  on December 7th at 7pm.

This is a short, quiet time for those who have lost someone close to them, and maybe are not looking forward to Christmas because of their loss.   If you have suffered the loss of a loved one or friend at any time and would like to remember them in a short service of readings, poetry and hymns please join us.

If you would like to bring a Christmas tree decoration with you to hang on our Christmas tree in memory of your loved one, you are welcome to do so. At the end of the service you will be offered a decoration, brought by someone else, to take home with you as a reminder that you are not alone in being sad at Christmas.

You are invited to stay and share over tea and coffee afterwards.

If you know of a friend or neighbour who may benefit from, or just enjoy, this quiet service, please extend an invitation to them. All will be welcome.
